C'mon Jeff, you never laced them up after school, and played pond hockey?Never watched Hockey Night In Canada? How the heck did you get involved with the Raider Nation?

Alex Ovechkin does the right thing and withdraws from this weekend's All-Star Game festivities. He just got a 3- game suspension for an illegal hit so withdrew from playing. I can respect that.

Tim Thomas was the sole Bruin to miss the Whitehouse visit the other day for the Stanley Cup Championship Congrats by Obama. Says it's a matter of political differences with the status-quo in Washington. Was it wrong? Selfish? I guess I think Thomas could have put the team first and his political idealogy second and gone. I'm not a fan of Obama either, but this kind of BS takes the fun out of something that should be a feel-good moment. Thomas is getting beat up out here in Boston for hios protest.
