David Stern is an Idiot!
I'm seriously thinking about canceling NBA Ticket after that bull
that happened yesterday!

I didn't read the reasons Stern thought the trade was "bad for basketball". Seems to me like the league owning a team is a huge conflict of interest anyway. Just another reason why out of the 4 major sports in our country, the NBA is 4th on my list.

There is no valid reason for Stern making this decision. Sure the league is trying to find a buyer and they sold over 10,000 seats for the up coming season. The problem is they would have gained a better core and still would have had the ability to bring in fans. The deal that was on the table was going to really hurt the Lakers if we didn't get Howard as planned. The Howard portion had more to do with the deal being nixed than keeping CP3 in New Orleans. That whimpy crying owner in Cleveland doesn't deserve to own an NBA team.
Lefraud and Gilbert deserve each other! Both are responsible for this current situation. The owners have it backwards in this instance. CP3 didn't request to go to the Lakers like Lefraud, Bosh and Wade did in the Miami BS! The Lakers made a legitimate offer for CP3.
