Thread: SHOULD THE "BIG 4" MAJOR LEAGUES DO AWAY WITH THEIR "All-Star" Games?

Once again, this past weekend we saw the NFL and the NHL hold their respective all-star games. Once again, they were a joke.... no hitting, no defense, just a lot of offensive show-boating. A hundred pts in the ProBowl? Are you kidding me? Even the NHL had a gazillion goals. What's the point. I like the skills competition the NHL has, leave it at that for all the leagues. Don't pretend to be interested in a meaningless game. Half the players will sit out anyway if they have a migraine. A rapper sang the National Anthem in Ottawa. They should have pelted him with pucks. (end rant here)

Worthless game, I never watch... MLB AllStar game is pretty good

Oh well. I thought this would be an interesting topic for some opinionated people but I guess not. On a sidenote, I heard a blurb last week that the NFL was thinking of doing away with it's Pro Bowl Game.
