I have posted there for years like you. That said that place caught lightning in a bottle as a open topic board. So many boards are set up with tons of sub forums and you have to **** around and open a different window for everything you want to talk about. "Team related footall only on the the main forum only" is a small minded concept. People develop friendships with the people they talk to and they want tro talk about their day with them, and then other posters that relate and chime in. It becomes like the water cooler at work. This creates traffic when there is simply nothing to talk about team related.
I also agree some topics shold be moved to seperate forums such as politics and whatever god someone prays to. I have met several people on the planet in person and consider them friends. Sadly like most hangouts it has run it's course. Several who post there are younger troll types who think being a dick is cool. It has digressed so much gochiefs is no longer the idiot, he is the blueprint for new posters. Also it seems like some of the old school posters are following suit. That brings up a question as I have never asked what allowed on the main board here

That brings up an interesting interest of mine. I would not mind being a mod on a board. The problem with me is I have no interest in trolling or some clown starting scratch my ass and sniff my finger threads. I think people who disagree should state their case and respect the person who disagrees with them. I am pretty level headed but will not play games. If you ever need another mod let me know. You have read enough from me over the years to know my style. I am the bouncer that tries to talk them down but not for very long~

If the need arises for another Mod we will keep your interest in mind, we are small and have very little trouble here to be honest, .. I own the site but Max is basically the people person... I don't always play well with others when it comes to people and he is alot nicer than I am... I am basically the Mark Davis and He is the Reggie McKenzie but he basically makes the calls or recommendations of the site, I keep up with the making things work and design part of it...

Exactly why I left.
I will say, for current event`s, the place is better than CNN for someone spotting it first.
But 10 years of flaming aids trees, Jail house Raider jokes, homosexual insults, masturbation threads, trolls, and too many all around ****en morons finally ran it`s cource with me. I have several on my Fb friends list, 3-4 others on my daily joke email lists. Other than that, I can honestly say......I don`t miss the "C"ess "P"ool one freaken bit. And THAT was a name give by a former VET member (and personal fiend of mine) of 8 years , who said enough 3 years back.

Pretty sad when 2 former posters are Ministers, and only lurk these days....that alone should tell Phob, Flop, and DaFace that " HEY...maybe all this loose moderation crap should be reigned in a wee bit huhh? Or at the very least comments wishing 7yr old children getting aids, or being rapped by 400lb Mexicans toned down a notch"".
