Christmas Lights! I love Christmas lights. They remind me of the people who voted for Obama. They all hang together; half of them don't work, and the ones that do, aren't that bright!
My interests are mostly on NHL this time of year but I still like to log on and see what's happening with the team and everybody else.
All lurkers and no posters, I guess. You guys scared off Clutch. He would have kept this place going like a Vegas nightclub act, lol.

Are the any NASCAR fans on this site? The Great American Race is just about here! NASCAR is how I pass the offseason.

go Blue Bombers!!!
Call me a cynic, call me burnt out. Agree with me, disagree with me. Since returning to Oakland, this team has probably the heaviest question mark since the off-season when Gruden was initially hired.
I have a lot of respect for the past contributions made by Wolf, Madden, and Herock. So I respect their opinion and recommendation of Big Mac Attack. Based on what I've read so far about his M.O. in Green Bay, I don't expect a lot of "splashy, big name, marquee" type of signings during free agency. I would give him the benefit of the doubt when he'll sign more "under the radar, outside the box thinking" players to the roster.
That said, I'm scratching my head profusely over the recent signing of Brandon Underwood. I don't understand it. Is he a DB/CB with a high upside which hasn't developed or is he ST material. Also what about the whole character issue off the field? (It adds more speculative question marks regarding Ro Mac)
I don't think anyone on the roster now is "safe," nor should they be. I'm even including Palmer and McFadden. Seems like the term "rebuild" is an obscene word in regards to the Raiders, especially when Mr Davis was still alive. Now with Mr Davis at rest, this team has probably the clearest slate since it's initial inception as the "Senors."
The issue isn't so much whether or not this current state of the Raiders is a "good" or "bad" thing. The issue is more of a "to adapt and evolve" or "hold onto tradition." Funny part is that the very end desired result of "winning" is what everyone shares.
