Maybe because we had Howard Cosell back in the 70"s, waxing poetic about the sporting events of the day as if they were a Shakespearean play, but I have never viewed a heavyweight bout since, like I did in the years of Ali, Frazier, Foreman and Ken Norton. Their names were on the tip of everyone's tongue. Their bouts were something. Rest easy Joe, your battles are over.

RIP Joe I'm glad he put the anger and hatred for Muhammad Ali to rest before he died also. There was a lot of ugly venom a few years ago!

I bet you when BIG George Forman passes away...he will be selling George Forman grills at the pearly gates.

I loved Big G from way back in the day.Frazier got whipped vs Big George, other then that Frazier was as tough as the come.
Another good guy and soul taken off the planet .................R.I.P Joe
