Hank Williams Jr. "Are You Ready For The Unemployment Line"?

I guess this could be considered a political discussion, even though it's football related. Looks like Hank is out after all these years due to his Hitler comments. Was it overblown? Or did Hank cross the line. I had an experience this past Summer at the local post office where a guy was passing out protest literature with Obama's picture on it with a Hitler Mustach written in on him. I immediately told him even though I didn't like Obama, and hadn't voted for him, I thought the analogy was tasteless. This is not quite the same thing, but some things are better left unsaid. Thoughts?

I agree Bouty. It is a tasteless reference to link anyone who a decent bone in their body to hitler.

    I have 2 words

    Herman Cain
Christmas Lights! I love Christmas lights. They remind me of the people who voted for Obama. They all hang together; half of them don't work, and the ones that do, aren't that bright!

Herman Cain is a moron... Richard Steele has more smarts in his ass hairs than Herman Cain has in his entire body!

Hank Jr. has released a song aimed at Fox and ESPN. I have heard it and it is a little controversial in the fact that he calls the USA "the United Social States of America". Not so sure that it will be very popular. Hank Jr. is controversial anyway and will probably love the attention.

A link to it for anyone interested.

I've always liked Hank. Actually have a few records of his going back to the 70's. He's off base on this one though. Any reference to Hitler is a no-no just because you don't like someone's politics. Hank is a big-time fence sitter who wants it both ways on this one IMO. You could kind of say he sold out too a long time ago when his song got picked up by MNF. There he's been, dancing with the cheerleaders and the glitter and getting the royalties for a song that used to be pure country. Take away that one, and his last hit was back when disco balls ruled the world. You can't fight the establishment when you're part of it, and put on your cowboy boots when it's conveinent for you.

LOL He put a lot of effort into the lyrics hahaha.... You gotta give him credit for his singing ability. I think Simon Cowell would kill him on song choice though.
